91快播 cyberQuarter celebrates success at Scottish Cyber Awards

91快播 staff celebrate at the Scottish Cyber Awards

91快播's students, staff, alumni and partners celebrated a night of success at the Scottish Cyber Awards.

91快播 cyberQuarter, the new centre for research, development, innovation and collaboration in cybersecurity, was awarded Best Cyber Start-Up of the Year at the glittering ceremony hosted by the Scottish Business Resilience Centre.

There was further success for 91快播 cyberQuarter Business Development Manager, Cheryl Torano and Ethical Hacking lecturer Jamie O'Hare, who were runners up in the categories for Outstanding Woman in Cyber and Cyber Educator.

91快播 partners, Salute My Job, who took the prize for Best Cyber Education Programme, while 91快播 cyberQuarter partner Robert Dewar of Dewar Cyber Consulting was runner up in the International Contribution category.

91快播 at the Scottish Cyber Awards

A strong contingent of more than 25 alumni, students and staff represented 91快播's Division of Cybersecurity at the event in Edinburgh, underlining the strength of the graduate talent pipeline flowing from the University into the cyber industry.

91快播 Principal, Professor Liz Bacon said: "This incredible result really shows the strength we have here at 91快播, both as a collective and at an individual level.

"I'm delighted to see our new home for Scottish cybersecurity, 91快播 cyberQuarter, recognised at such an early stage and look forward to the many exciting opportunities the centre will bring for partnership working between industry, academia and our students."
