We signed as a pledge to support service personnel. This means we ensure that all staff and student members of the armed forces - including veterans, reserves and their families - are treated fairly and are not disadvantaged, as outlined in our .

Supporting the Armed Forces

In 2016 Professor Seaton, former Vice Chancellor of 91快播, signed the pledge witnessed by Major General Nick Ashmore OBE, the Army鈥檚 senior officer in Scotland. Professor Seaton confirmed our commitment to the Armed Forces community.

We run a range of activities to support the Armed Forces community within our wider access and outreach work.

Creative Forces Day

We hold a Creative Forces Day welcoming pupils aged 14-18 from forces families. This helps to inspire service family children to carry on into higher education after leaving school.

Armed Forces Day Celebrations

We celebrate Armed Forces Day particularly to celebrate the contributions that staff and students make in their Reservist and Cadet Instructor roles.听
